The Ministry of Defence received an official visit from The Honourable Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr., Secretary of National Defence of the Republic of the Philippines. It took place at the Ministry of Defence. The Honourable Gilberto's one-day official visit to the country is part of his tour to ASEAN countries to strengthen defence relations.

Upon arrival, The Honourable was welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. The Honourable Gilberto also paid a courtesy call to the Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence.
